One of the surprise hits of New York Comic Con was a new children's book series with a couple of well-known comic book creators in the mix … creators you might not immediately associate with a children's book.
Greg Horn and Glenn Fabry are providing covers and illustrations respectively for The Professionals, an umbrella series of books starring "tweenage heroes" who each excel in "bona fide profession", rather than exhibiting superhuman powers.
The first of a six-part series, officially debuting in June, is Anna Smudge: Professional Shrink, starring "an eleven-year-old girl who has an unusual knack for listening and transforms herself into the top shrink in Manhattan."
